In 2006, entered Yokoyama Bamboo Products & Co.His works using bamboo craft techniques have been used in many famous architectural structures in Japan and abroad.
Collaborating with artists in Japan and abroad, the company has developed productions and workshops. At the same time, he is eager to pass on the techniques of bamboo craftsmanship and try out new challenges.
Megumi Tanaka
Profile
Studied bamboo crafts for four years at Kyoto University of Traditional Arts and Crafts(TASK).She entered Yokoyama Bamboo Products & Co. (Bamboo Weaving Shop).
As a bamboo weaver, she produces bamboo baskets, lighting, and interior materials.
Mari Kishimoto
Profile
In 2018, graduated from the College of Traditional Crafts, majoring in Bamboo Crafts.Joined Yokoyama Bamboo Shop.
She has created bamboo weaving for ceilings and walls, bamboo baskets, bamboo benches, and more.
She is working with her hands to improve her skills every day.
